Hi there, If you don't have to pay for accomodation and car, you'll need a minimum of RM3000 net per month for you and your wife. If you have 1-2 children, you'll need RM3500nett per month. Eating out will cost around RM15-RM20 per person. If you go to fancy restaurant, it cost around RM50 per person. Movie - RM10 Around RM50 a week for vegetable and meat for a family of 4 Household items - RM500 per month If you want to have some savings, you'll need to earn more than RM3000 take home pay per month.

If you really want to save money when eating out go to those side stands and get nasi lemak or char koyteeow for maybe $1-3 ringgit per person :D (make sure if food is preprepared that it isnt open, but if u go to like tourist attraction places like langkawi the food and clothing are going to be matched up to american pricings. (they know the business lol)

hmmmm, if u asked like that i will say for 10 cent, u still can lives... mostly in malaysia exspecially in a big city like K.L, u will need at least Rm5k a month (live in luxury style)...the living cost is high, for example going out for breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper at least u will expand a hundred ringgit (that's for 3 person, if 4,5,6, more money is required)= per day only...not include others necessary likes window shopping, vehicle maintainens, etc...u really need a lot of money, bro.. but, in Perlis state, for rm10, u will full till supper for 3-4 person...if u is a savingman, with 10 cent u still can lives...
