I live in Malaysia and wish to invest in India?Like buying shares in Sensex?
Can anyone advise if there is a possibility of a foreigner buying Indian stocks?Via online method preferable.any sane and rational responses are appreciated.Thanks so much for your help

No...u cannot buy indian stocks online. however if u r HNI , u can contact your bank or fin instn..who can invest in india on ur behalf. The other way is to search INDIA DEDICATED FUND IN UR COUNTRY AND INVEST IN THEM.

You can buy any shares from Indian stock market, but the prosiger will too long for you because you are an NRI. So easiest way is that you contact some Indian relative and invest your money by using his/her demat and trading account. But make sure it is trustworthy deal, do not forget to check your transaction on regular basis. You can got information of Bombay stock exchange from the site which I mentioned in source. Have a nice time. :)
